If there is one thing I have struggled with in my life, it is unconditionally loving and accepting myself (even though I haven’t always realized it). I grew up having very low self-esteem and feeling like I was never good enough. Over the years, loving myself has gotten easier and easier. If you are struggling with this too, here are some steps that may make it easier for you, too:

Step 1: Find and work on your life purpose –

Have you ever heard of the documentary on manifesting called “The Secret”? The one that says that all you have to do is think about what you want, and it’ll magically appear? In ways, I’m happy that it exists, because it brought the idea of manifestation to millions of people. But I also think it sets us up for unrealistic expectations of manifesting, which can lead to people feeling like it’s just another snake oil salesman scam.

One of the first components to creating your life of Vitality is to define success on your terms (not the terms that everyone else has created for you). This can be tough, because we often have to wade through decades of programming and a lot of other people’s ideas of what success looks like.

When I first started setting goals for myself, a lot of the goals that I had were actually my dad’s goals.

As a sensitive person, I used to get my feelings hurt a lot (although I was really good at hiding it). Through the years of my healing journey, I have learned a great deal about why people hurt your feelings. By taking a look at these three reasons and implementing the information into your daily life, you’ll free yourself of a lot of the hurt that is created by others. Here they are:

In my six years of coaching and my lifetime of being a self-help junkie, I have read so many tips on how to accomplish goals. Here are three tips that I have found to be some of the most useful:

It’s our souls way of letting us know that we’re currently expending our energy in a way that is not for our highest and greatest good.

We all have goals we want to accomplish in our lives, but our mindset often holds us back from actually accomplishing them. Here are three mindset shifts I have found to work and that will assist you in accomplishing your goals.

Shift #1: Focus on what you are adding to your life (not what you are taking away) – So often, when we set a goal for ourselves, we focus on deprivation. Let’s say our goal is to lose weight.

Do you ever watch movies or read books like “The Secret” and wonder what you’re missing? Do you feel in your bones that manifesting is real but get frustrated because it doesn’t work for you? You and me both! I feel like some manifesting representations dumb down the process of creating what you want in your life. This can lead to frustration and feeling like something is wrong with you when your goals don’t manifest,

If you are anything like my Vitality ladies, you may be a (recovering) perfectionist. Perfectionists have a tendency to be really hard on themselves and spend a lot of time beating themselves up. Do you relate to this? If so, I think you’ll gain a lot by reading today’s article.

The first thing I want you to do is think of a goal you are working on right now that you are “failing”

One of the things that I have realized is how important boundaries are when it comes to creating a life that makes you happy. The women I work with (myself included) struggle a lot with this. So I wanted to write you ladies a little reminder…I know I could use it from time to time.

It’s OK to say no…even if it means someone else’s feelings are hurt.
It’s OK to let go of people who hurt you (intentionally or unintentionally)…even if they don’t want you to.
